The Museum of Holography opened its doors in 1974 in the West Loop of Chicago. For over forty years, the museum has existed as the only one of its kind. It was home to the single largest collection of holographic art and technology, educating and inspiring the public with the wonders of holograms. Sadly, in 2008 it was forced to close its doors due to financial issues.
This project is a reimagining of the institution and its visual identity.
